Film Stories with Simon Brew

In the latest episode of Film Stories with Simon Brew, two films that both ended up having to delay filming for their respective stars.

The Truman Show (1998) was a breakthrough for Jim Carrey, but one crucial piece of casting went right to the wire, after Dennis Hopper departed the movie.

With Whiplash, a delay to wait for one of its cast meant the film needed to be filmed, edited and completed in under two months - even when its director had what could have been a serious accident.
